1 1/2 cups flour 3 tablespoons sugar
2 tsp.s baking
powder pinch of salt
1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces 1/3 cup craisins
1
tsp. grated orange zest 2/3 cup milk
Topping: Mix 1 teaspoon sugar
+ 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Mix flour through
salt in medium size bowl. Cut in butter until texture is meal- like. Mix in craisins.
Stir orange zest into 2/3 cup of milk, add to dry ingredients & stir until
blended. Knead slightly.
On floured surface pat into approx. 4"
X 8" rectangle, fold over into square & cut into four triangles. Place
on parchment paper approx. 2" apart. Brush milk on top of each triangle &
dust with topping.
Bake 15 minutes until puffed. Do not over bake!
Cool on pan 5 minutes & remove to rack. Serve warm if possible.
