cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4
cup flax seeds
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
1/2 cup unprocessed wheat bran
1/4
cup honey
1/4 cup unsweetened apple juice
1/4 cup canola oil l teaspoon
vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Pour rolled oats onto two cookie sheets and roast in 350 degree oven for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and add:
almonds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, coconut, and
wheat bran.
Then stir into mixture: honey, warmed in microwave for 30 seconds ,apple juice
, canola oil , vanilla,
and almond extract.
Bake mixture on two cookie sheets in 350 degree oven, about 20 minutes, stirring
occasionally.
When cool, add 1-1/2 cups dried cherries.
